All this to say how excited I am to see that Jack Bauer is back in furious fashion on Day 5 of 24

after the assassinations of David Palmer (it only took 2½ minutes to elicit my first gasp of shock) and Michelle Dessler (a few minutes later), I was heartened to see that Chloe and Edgar would last a little longer.
Once Prison Break returns, Monday nights are going to be off-limits.
