The day dawned grey and damp. We headed to the Georgian Mall in Barrie, Shelley on a quest to find an outfit for my sister Rumiko's wedding on Saturday, me and the kids along for the ride.
I was Mr. Mom in suburbia, Rei in the stroller, Kai strapped into the Baby Bjorn carrier, wandering up and down the mall, alternately calming and entertaining the distressed and bored children. Shelley succeeded in procuring an appropriate and comfortable ensemble for the upcoming matrimonial occasion.
I had also resigned myself to the fact that I would not have much rest or relaxation this vacation.
