Welcome Kai!

Kaede (pronounced "ka-EH-dey") Baker Marui was born this morning, 9:23 a.m. 8 lbs. 8 oz. 21" long.

Kaede is the Japanese word for "maple", an effort to honour his Japanese and Canadian roots. We're calling him "Kai".
