After the craggy and stark beauty of the Avalon Penninsula, we returned home to find southwestern Ontario's spring in bright array. While the days of daffodils and tulips were waning, deciduous trees erupted into full greenery, and the lilacs fragrantly showed themselves in soft pastels.
And the dandelions had taken over, seeding fluffy white parachutes, to Rei's delight. So while Shelley prepared supper for the kids and got them ready for bed, I mowed the lawn. Once the landscape was trimmed and our young sprouts safely to bed, we had a barbecue steak supper. Oh, and Happy Mother's Day.
